sensory analysis
  • Colour: a wine with a brilliant colour with dense tears gently running down the inside of the glass -a sign of the unctuous, full character of the wine. A lemon yellow hue with typical Verdejo green tinge.
  • Nose: its aromatic power comes to the fore. Hints of tropical fruit come through such as grapefruit, limes, ripe pineapple supported by some yeasty notes of soft bread.
  • Paladate: a soft, sweet attack on the palate enhanced by the high glycerine content of the wine. An unctuous mouth-feel that develops slowly on the mid-palate underpinned by fresh acidity and an enveloping bitter finish, characteristic of the Verdejo variety. A long finish.
