sensory analysis
  • Colour: a black cherry hue, deep-coloured in the core with a lively, bright violet rim.
  • Nose: aromas of perfectly ripe Tinta de Toro displaying notes of jammy black fruit, such as wild blackberries and sloe berries, while the wine’s stay in well-charred American barrels has provided lovely patisserie aromas, such as vanilla and cinnamon, as well as delicious hints of toffee.
  • Paladate: a gorgeous attack with very expressive fine-grained tannins coming through on the mid-palate, followed by layers of creamy fruit in the finish.
